Mohammad Aslam, the son of late Haji Ahmed Din from Ludhiana shares the story of his father migrating to Kenya initially, where Mohammad Aslam was born. The family returned to Toba Tek Singh in Pakistan before migrating to Birmingham in 1967 where he worked in a steel and spare parts factory with his father. Mr Aslam then he moved with his brother, Idrees, to Glasgow to work for the Transport Corporation in the buses at Govan depot for 3 years before working as a green grocer.
A few years later, due the love of Pakistan he developed as a teenager he reverse-migrated to stay in Pakistan with his wife and children.
